From the Ladies in Texas

posted by: Travelodge Nanaimo on 12/14/2009 11:10:35 AM
We received a card this morning that I had to blog about- it was a Thank You Card from three of the sweetest sisters in Texas! Lou-Ray, Billye and Martha visited us in November and had these kind words to say about our staff and their stay-

"Sorry to be so long saying Thank You for our wonderful memories of a delightful trip and how you are a special memory because you were so nice and fun to be with. And you can believe it because I've never written to any hotel before this trip- But you were special- so save us a room in case we get back some year. We are those three grey-headed sisters, all over 85 years old from Texas. Thank you again for just being so fun to deal with!"

Thank you ladies, we enjoyed having you as much as you enjoyed being here! We look forward to your next visit, hopefully soon.

Great little place!!

posted by: Trip Advisor Review on 7/7/2009 11:04:36 AM

We loved it!

Stopped by the Travelodge on our way off the ferry, too tired to drive up island in the dark...great little hotel with the friendliest desk staff...GREAT deluxe breakfast (toast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, and excellent coffee)...good location, close to downtown and we went for a nice morning walk on the harbour walkway...nice big room with a view of the city and harbour with a balcony, air conditioner that cooled the room quickly and quietly...comfy beds and nice pillows.
